Our Mission

As Birmingham continues to grow, its importance as a global city grows with it bringing in new stories, experiences and cultures. While general media outlets may push these to the wayside. Rumah Seni dedicates itself to those individuals who want to tell their story no matter their form of expression.

We aim to help young creatives, who do not see their creativity as a viable path to employment, to gain experience, skills and build their network.

Roadmap

01

Digital Space

Collaborate with creative arts businesses and independant artists to produce video interviews, photoshoots and written articles to promote them on our social media pages and rumahseni.co.uk

02

Community Leaders

Focus more on areas that are relevant to our cause by working directly with community leaders. This enables us to host events / activites to ensure Rumah Seni becomes a growing movement in Birmingham’s creative arts scene.

03

Rumah Seni Café

After establishing ourselves within the creative arts scene, we can open our first physical space. A non-profit café that is dedicated to supporting independant artists from low income backgrounds.

04

Independant Artists

Once our Café has opened and is generating a stable income we can then open our grassroots arts community centre. This space will directly engage with young aspiring creatives.
